The Afterpay Brand Studio covered a lot of ground in year 1. We turned a game changing product into a globally recognized brand. We developed a distinct tonal identity from the ground up and turned our founding ambitions - a freer, fairer and more accessible economy for all - into bold actions across the globe.

Here are some of the highlights.

For Afterpay’s first global campaign, we abandoned the category’s most famous identifier in “pay later” and invited the world to “Pay Better”, tapping Rebel Wilson to explain what that entails means in terms everyone - including 6 year old tea party hosts - can understand.
